The The North Face Women’s Descendit Jacket delivers reliable warmth and weather protection in a streamlined silhouette made for long days of skiing and snowboarding. A seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance, while Heatseeker synthetic insulation adds lightweight warmth with 80g through the body and 60g in the hood and sleeves. When you start heating up, underarm vents make it easy to regulate your temperature and keep the laps going. The slim, hip-length fit pairs with an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, snap-down powder skirt, adjustable cuffs, and hem cinch for extra protection when the snow starts flying. A wrist pass pocket with goggle wipe, internal media pocket, chest pocket, and oversized mesh drop pocket keep essentials organized. Made with recycled polyester throughout the shell and lining, the Descendit is a dependable women’s insulated ski and snowboard jacket built for cold groomer days, storm laps, and everything in between.
Seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L fabric is engineered to provide waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, helping keep you dry and comfortable through changing mountain weather. A non-PFC DWR finish adds water repellency to the exterior.
Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation uses hollow-core fibers to provide lightweight, durable and compressible warmth without unnecessary bulk. The Descendit features 80 g insulation through the body and 60 g through the hood and sleeves.
The attached, adjustable hood is designed to accommodate a helmet and features a riveted cord-lock adjustment system for dialing in coverage when wind and snow pick up.
Built-in underarm vents provide quick temperature regulation, making it easier to release excess heat when you're working hard or conditions warm up during the day.
A snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic helps create a secure barrier against snow, adding extra protection during storm days, powder laps and unexpected tumbles.
A secure-zip wrist pocket keeps a lift pass conveniently accessible and includes an integrated goggle wipe for clearing snow and moisture from your lenses.
A zippered chest pocket, covered secure-zip hand pockets, internal secure-zip chest pocket and large internal mesh drop-in pocket provide dedicated storage for everyday mountain essentials.
The internal secure-zip chest pocket includes a media port, allowing cords to be routed inside the jacket while keeping devices protected and close at hand.
Hook-and-loop cuff tabs allow the sleeves to be adjusted around gloves, while an internal two-point hem cinch-cord helps fine-tune the jacket's lower fit. The cord ends exit through the hand pockets for a clean exterior.
The DryVent™ shell and lining are made with 100% recycled polyester, while the Heatseeker™ insulation contains 70% post-consumer recycled polyester.
