The 22 Designs Outlaw X NTN Telemark Binding is built for tele skiers who want one hard-charging setup that can rip resort laps and head into the backcountry when fresh lines are worth the climb. Rugged stainless steel construction and an industrial-strength main spring deliver smooth, progressive flex with immediate engagement and strong lateral control, while five preload settings let you dial in the binding’s activity to match your skiing. When it’s time to tour, a 50° resistance-free free-pivot mode makes skinning more efficient, with 8° and 13° climbing bails ready for steeper approaches. True step-in functionality, pole-activated release, and quick ski/walk transitions keep things simple when you’re on the move. Available in Small and Large sizes, the Outlaw X is a tough, powerful NTN telemark binding made for dropping knees everywhere from lift-served hardpack to backcountry powder. The Outlaw X is not DIN-certified releasable.
An industrial-strength main die spring positioned underneath a steel plate creates smooth, progressive flex with strong lateral stability. The springs engage from the beginning of the turn for immediate response and precise control when you start driving the ski.
Five preload positions let you adjust the binding’s activity to suit your skiing style. Preload is changed through the spring cap, making it possible to fine-tune the Outlaw X from a more relaxed feel to a more active and powerful response.
The Outlaw X combines aggressive downhill performance with a resistance-free touring mode offering 50° of free-pivot travel. The increased range of motion creates a more natural stride for skinning and makes the binding equally capable of resort laps and backcountry approaches.
Two spring-loaded climbing bails provide 8° and 13° climbing positions with a 27.0 boot, giving you additional heel support when the skin track gets steeper.
The Outlaw X features true step-in functionality for quick entry without having to manually engage the binding. Updated boot retention works with the step-in system to provide a secure connection for aggressive telemark skiing.
A pole-activated release makes stepping out of the binding straightforward without having to reach down, helping keep transitions quick whether you’re riding lifts or moving through the backcountry.
The ski/walk mechanism can be operated with a ski pole for quick transitions between downhill and free-pivot touring modes, keeping the process simple when you’re moving between climbing and descending.
Durable stainless steel components and a secure six-hole mounting pattern give the Outlaw X the strength needed for hard-charging telemark skiing. The rugged construction is designed to handle repeated resort use and demanding backcountry terrain.
