The The North Face Men’s Freedom Insulated Jacket is a do-it-all ski and snowboard jacket built for cold days, storm laps, and everything the resort throws your way. A seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L shell provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection, with added stretch to keep you moving freely through every turn. Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation packs 80g of warmth through the body with 60g in the sleeves and hood, keeping the cold out without piling on unnecessary bulk. When you start heating up, mesh-lined underarm vents let you quickly regulate your temperature. An adjustable helmet-compatible hood, snap-down powder skirt, adjustable cuffs, and hem cinch help seal out blowing snow, while a pass pocket with goggle wipe and multiple secure pockets keep essentials organized. Comfortable, warm, and ready for just about anything, the Freedom Insulated is a dependable men’s waterproof ski and snowboard jacket made for riders who simply want to gear up and spend all day on snow.
Seam-sealed DryVent™ 2-layer fabric is engineered to provide waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection for changing mountain conditions. A non-PFC durable water-repellent finish adds another layer of protection against moisture.
Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation uses hollow-core fibers to provide lightweight, durable, and compressible warmth without excessive bulk. The Freedom Insulated uses 80 g insulation through the body with 60 g through the sleeves and hood.
Underarm zippers make it easy to release excess heat during hard runs or warmer conditions, while the mesh lining provides ventilation without leaving the vents completely open to blowing snow.
The attached and adjustable hood is designed to accommodate a ski or snowboard helmet and uses a hidden cord-lock adjustment system to help dial in coverage when conditions turn nasty.
A snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic helps seal out snow around the waist, providing additional protection during deep days, storm laps, and unexpected tumbles.
A chest pocket with an exposed YKK® AquaGuard® zipper, covered secure-zip hand pockets, and a large internal mesh drop-in pocket provide plenty of space for everyday mountain essentials.
A secure-zip wrist pocket keeps your lift pass conveniently positioned for resort access and includes an integrated goggle wipe for quickly clearing your lenses between runs.
Hook-and-loop cuff tabs let you adjust the sleeves around gloves, while an internal two-point hem cinch-cord helps secure the lower jacket against wind and blowing snow. The cinch-cord ends exit conveniently into the hand pockets.
The DryVent™ body fabric is made with 100% recycled nylon, while the lining uses 100% recycled polyester. Heatseeker™ insulation through the body contains 90% post-consumer recycled polyester.
