The The North Face Ceptor Jacket is a freeride-inspired men’s ski and snowboard shell built for riders who would rather chase untouched lines than follow the crowd back to the lift. Its DryVent™ Mono 3L construction delivers extreme waterproof protection while remaining windproof and breathable, making it ready for everything from storm-day resort laps to setting a skin track in the backcountry. Underarm vents let you dump heat when the climb gets steep, while the helmet-compatible hood, adjustable cuffs with thumbholes, and stretch powder skirt help seal out blowing snow on the descent. Storage is dialed for mountain missions with multiple chest and hand pockets, two oversized internal drop pockets, a pass pocket with goggle wipe, gear loops, and an insulated phone pouch. Made with a 100% recycled polyester face fabric and weighing approximately 771g, the Ceptor is a technical waterproof ski shell built to tour up, drop in, and keep exploring when the lift lines end.

Built for wet, snowy, and stormy mountain conditions, the Ceptor carries The North Face’s Extreme waterproofness designation and pairs its DryVent™ Mono 3L fabric with a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish.
Underarm venting provides an easy way to release excess heat when you’re hiking, touring, or riding hard, helping you regulate temperature without having to shed your outer layer.
The attached and adjustable hood is designed to accommodate a ski or snowboard helmet, giving you additional coverage when wind and snow start hammering the mountain.
A stretch powder skirt with silicone gripper tape helps keep snow from working its way inside the jacket, while a jacket-to-pant integration clip provides an additional connection point for storm days and deep snow.
Two zippered chest pockets, zippered hand pockets, a wrist pocket, and two large internal mesh drop-in pockets provide plenty of space for mountain essentials. Gear loops inside the right hand pocket add another convenient option for organizing equipment.
The left chest pocket includes an insulated phone pouch and zippered pass-through, helping keep your phone protected and accessible during cold days on the mountain.
A zippered wrist pocket includes an internal pass pouch and integrated goggle wipe, keeping two frequently used mountain essentials right where you need them.
Hook-and-loop cuff tabs provide easy adjustment around gloves, while internal elastic thumbholes add coverage around the wrists and help keep sleeves securely in place.
An internal hem cinch-cord with two-point adjustment lets you dial in the lower opening of the jacket for a more secure fit and additional protection from wind and blowing snow.
The 177 g/m² DryVent™ Mono 3L body fabric is made with 100% recycled polyester, while recycled materials are also used throughout the chin guard and pocket linings.
