The North Face Girls’ Freedom Insulated Jacket is built to keep young skiers and snowboarders warm, dry, and ready for another lap when winter weather rolls in. A seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection, while Heatseeker synthetic insulation delivers serious warmth with 200g through the body, 150g in the sleeves, and 100g in the hood. The attached helmet-compatible hood adds coverage on snowy lift rides, while a powder skirt with gripper elastic helps keep snow from sneaking inside during powder days and inevitable tumbles. Adjustable cuffs help seal out the cold, and secure hand pockets, an internal mesh pocket, and a sleeve pass pocket with goggle wipe keep mountain essentials close. Made with recycled polyester throughout the shell and lining, the Freedom Insulated is a warm, durable girls’ ski and snowboard jacket ready for lessons, family ski trips, snow days, and all-day mountain adventures.
Seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L fabric is engineered to provide waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection, helping young skiers and snowboarders stay dry and comfortable when winter weather moves in. A non-PFC DWR finish adds water repellency to the exterior.
Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation uses hollow-core fibers to provide durable, lightweight, and compressible warmth. The jacket uses 200 g insulation through the body, 150 g in the sleeves, and 100 g in the hood for body-mapped warmth where it's needed.
The attached three-piece hood is designed to accommodate a ski or snowboard helmet and features an elasticated rain-guard tunnel with a hook-and-loop adjustment tab at the back for a snug fit.
An integrated powder skirt with gripper elastic helps keep snow from working its way inside the jacket during powder days, snowy lessons, and inevitable tumbles on the mountain.
A covered secure-zip pass pocket on the left sleeve keeps a lift pass easy to access and includes an integrated goggle wipe for clearing snow and moisture from lenses.
Hook-and-loop cuff tabs allow the sleeves to be adjusted around gloves or mittens, helping create a more secure fit and keep cold air and snow outside.
Secure-zip hand pockets provide protected storage for everyday essentials, while an internal mesh pocket offers additional room for gear inside the jacket.
The DryVent™ shell and jacket linings are made with recycled polyester, while the Heatseeker™ insulation contains 70% post-consumer recycled polyester.
