The Tecnica Mach1 HV 120 is built for advanced and expert skiers who need uncompromising performance in a higher-volume fit. Featuring a 103mm high-volume last and a powerful 120 flex, it delivers the precision and energy transfer aggressive skiers demand without sacrificing all-day comfort. The updated T-Drive 2.0 system creates a smooth, progressive flex while maximizing power transmission to the ski, and Tecnica's C.A.S. Shell and C.A.S. Performance liner with Celliant provide an anatomical fit that can be fully customized for exceptional comfort and heel hold. Quick Instep construction and Lift Lock buckles make entry and exit effortless, while GripWalk soles improve traction and walking comfort around the resort. Designed for skiers with wider feet who refuse to compromise on performance, the Mach1 HV 120 delivers the power, precision, and personalized fit to ski hard from first chair to last lap.
The updated T-Drive 2.0 system uses a two-piece mechanism to actively connect the cuff and shell. Its dynamic design allows controlled movement at the front of the cuff, helping direct energy toward the forefoot while reducing unnecessary shell deformation.
Tecnica’s C.A.S. liner is anatomically shaped on the inside to follow the foot and on the outside to match the shell. Dual-density, thermoformable microcell material provides excellent out-of-the-box comfort, secure heel hold, and extensive customization options.
Celliant material is integrated into the liner to help maintain a warm, comfortable environment around the foot. Combined with the C.A.S. construction, it supports all-day comfort without compromising the close connection needed for precise skiing.
The adjustable tongue allows the liner fit to be fine-tuned around the shin and instep. Repositioning the tongue helps improve pressure distribution and creates a more personalized connection between the lower leg and cuff.
The C.A.S. Shell is anatomically shaped to follow the natural contours of the foot before customization begins. Small dimples reduce surface tension during heating, making targeted shell work faster and helping the customized shape last longer.
The C.A.S. Shell can be professionally punched to increase volume in specific areas using Tecnica’s dedicated C.A.S. Pro tool system. This allows bootfitters to relieve pressure points without unnecessarily changing the rest of the fit.
Softer plastic is strategically positioned over the instep, allowing the shell to open more easily when putting the boot on or taking it off. This is especially helpful in colder temperatures when traditional shell materials become stiffer.
Tecnica’s Lift Lock system holds the buckles upright and away from the shell while the boot is open. This prevents the buckles from catching on the opposite side of the shell and makes entry and exit quicker and less frustrating.
The reinforced backspine supports the rear of the cuff to improve stability and energy transfer. It helps maintain consistent support as the skier flexes into the boot, creating a more direct and controlled connection to the ski.
GripWalk soles use a rockered profile and high-traction tread to provide a more natural walking motion and better grip away from the ski. They are designed for use with GripWalk-compatible bindings.
Tecnica’s Eco Design program focuses on recovering and regenerating ski boot materials with consistent, known mechanical properties. These materials can then be incorporated into the production of new ski boots while maintaining dependable performance.
A QR-based tracking system provides detailed information about the materials used in each boot. This improves sorting and regeneration consistency, helping Tecnica produce higher-quality recycled material for use in future ski boots.
