The Tecnica Mach BOA 85 W is designed for intermediate women skiers who want exceptional comfort with the precision of a customizable fit. Its 100mm medium-volume last provides a balanced fit for average-width feet, while the forgiving 85 flex offers the support needed to build confidence without feeling overly demanding. The BOA Fit System delivers fast, micro-adjustable closure across the lower shell, creating a secure and even wrap that enhances heel hold while helping reduce pressure points. Tecnica’s T-Sport system improves power transmission for smoother, more controlled turns, while the women’s-specific N.F.S. Adaptive liner with Celliant provides generous warmth, cushioning, and comfort from first chair to last run. The customizable C.A.S. Shell and Mechanical Cuff Adapt system allow the fit to be fine-tuned around the foot and lower leg. Finished with Quick Instep construction, Lift Lock cuff buckles, and GripWalk soles, the Mach BOA 85 W combines easy entry, dependable performance, and all-day comfort to help progressing skiers enjoy every run.
The BOA Fit System replaces traditional lower-shell buckles with a precise, micro-adjustable dial and cable closure. It creates a uniform wrap around the foot, helping improve heel hold, responsiveness, and comfort while reducing concentrated pressure points.
The BOA dial allows small fit adjustments to be made quickly throughout the day. Skiers can increase or release tension without opening multiple buckles, making it easier to fine-tune the fit as conditions and comfort needs change.
Inspired by Tecnica’s T-Drive technology, the T-Sport system creates a performance bridge between the upper cuff and lower shell. This strategic connection directs energy toward the forefoot to improve precision and control while maintaining a smooth, responsive flex.
The women’s-specific N.F.S. Adaptive liner uses anatomically pre-shaped internal padding to provide a comfortable fit from the first day on snow. Extra-thick, soft cushioning adds warmth and support, while hot-air thermoforming allows the fit to be further personalized.
Celliant fibers are integrated into the liner to help maintain warmth and comfort throughout long days on the mountain. The material complements the liner’s soft cushioning while preserving the supportive fit needed for responsive skiing.
The C.A.S. Shell is anatomically shaped to follow the natural contours of the foot before customization begins. Strategic dimples reduce surface tension during heating, making targeted adjustments easier and helping the shell retain its customized shape longer.
The C.A.S. Shell can be professionally punched using Tecnica’s dedicated C.A.S. Pro tool system. This allows bootfitters to increase volume in specific areas and relieve pressure points without unnecessarily changing the rest of the boot’s fit.
The Mechanical Cuff Adapt system allows the volume of the upper cuff to be adjusted around the lower leg. Its simple adjustment mechanism helps accommodate different calf shapes and creates a more personalized balance of comfort and support.
Softer plastic is strategically positioned over the instep so the shell opens more easily when putting the boots on or taking them off. This reduces effort and improves convenience, particularly in cold temperatures when shell materials become stiffer.
Tecnica’s Lift Lock system holds the cuff buckles upright and away from the shell while the boot is open. This prevents them from catching on the opposite side and makes stepping into and out of the boot quicker and easier.
Tecnica’s Women’s Specific Design shapes the cuff, liner, and overall fit around the needs of female skiers. The result is a more natural connection around the lower leg, improved comfort, and dependable support throughout the day.
The 100mm last is designed for average-width feet and provides a balanced combination of comfort and control. Its anatomical shape offers room through the forefoot while maintaining supportive heel and ankle retention.
GripWalk soles use a rockered profile and high-traction tread to provide a more natural walking motion and better grip away from the ski. They improve comfort around parking lots, lodges, and base areas and require GripWalk-compatible bindings.
Tecnica’s Eco Design program focuses on obtaining regenerated materials with consistent and known mechanical properties. These materials can be incorporated into new ski boot production while maintaining dependable performance and durability.
A QR-based tracking system provides detailed information about the materials used in each boot. Improved traceability allows for more accurate sorting and regeneration, producing higher-quality recycled material that can be reused in future ski boot production.
