The T-Ride system creates a solid connection between the cuff and lower shell to preserve alpine-style power and control on the descent. When released into walk mode, it allows the cuff to move freely for more efficient hiking and skinning.
A generous 55° cuff range provides the mobility needed for long approaches, bootpacks, and touring days. The natural movement helps lengthen each stride and reduces resistance while traveling uphill.
The repositioned hinge point allows the cuff to move with less friction while the boot is in walk mode. This smoother articulation helps conserve energy and creates a more natural motion during hikes and uphill travel.
Dynafit-certified inserts provide compatibility with low-tech pin bindings for touring and backcountry use. Their rearward positioning supports more natural walking, while Quick-Step-In geometry helps guide the binding pins into place.
The C.A.S. Shell is anatomically shaped to follow the natural contours of the foot before customization begins. Small dimples reduce surface tension during heating, making targeted shell work easier and helping the shell retain its new shape over time.
The C.A.S. Shell can be professionally punched with Tecnica’s dedicated C.A.S. Pro tool system. This allows bootfitters to increase volume in specific areas and relieve pressure points without unnecessarily altering the rest of the fit.
The C.A.S. liner is anatomically shaped inside to match the foot and outside to conform to the shell. Dual-density, pre-shaped microcell material provides excellent heel retention, a precise fit, and dependable durability.
The C.A.S. liner can be heat molded, punched, ground, or fitted with pre-shaped volume-reducing pads. These options allow a professional bootfitter to address pressure points, improve retention, and fine-tune the fit around the foot.
Celliant material is incorporated into the liner to help maintain a warm and comfortable environment around the foot. It complements the close, supportive fit of the C.A.S. liner without reducing responsiveness.
The adjustable liner tongue can be repositioned to fine-tune pressure distribution around the shin and instep. This helps create a more comfortable and personalized connection between the lower leg and cuff.
Softer plastic is strategically placed over the instep so the shell opens more easily while stepping into or out of the boot. This reduces effort in cold conditions when standard shell materials become stiffer.
GripWalk soles use a rockered shape and high-traction tread to create a more natural walking motion and better grip away from the ski. They are designed for use with compatible GripWalk-certified bindings.
Tecnica’s Eco Design program focuses on recovering regenerated materials with consistent and known mechanical characteristics. These materials can then be incorporated into new ski boot production while maintaining reliable performance.
A QR-based tracking system provides detailed information about the materials used in each boot. Better traceability allows more accurate sorting and regeneration, improving the quality and consistency of materials reused in future ski boots.
