The Super Happy Time Death Machine Universal Remote is a hybrid-camber all-mountain freestyle snowboard built for riders who want power when they’re charging and plenty of freedom to get weird when the mountain turns into a playground. Its unique profile places camber under each foot for pop, edge hold, and response, with rocker between the bindings and at the contact points to keep the board loose, maneuverable, and fun. A medium flex makes it ready to carve groomers, hit jumps, slash natural features, and weave through the trees. The Deathcore blends bamboo, paulownia, and poplar for a lively balance of strength and reduced weight, while triaxial XXX Fiberglass adds response and durability. Sundae UHMW sidewalls take the abuse, and the fast Sintered Durasurf 4001 Super Base keeps things moving. Finished with a matte Aura of Protection topsheet and wild Larb Vomit artwork for the brand’s ten-year anniversary, the Universal Remote is built to control the mountain—even if it still can’t control your TV.
Camber under each foot delivers pop, response, and dependable edge hold, while rocker between the bindings and at the contact points gives the Universal Remote a looser, more maneuverable feel when it's time to slash, press, or play around the mountain.
A medium flex strikes a versatile balance between support and playfulness, giving the Universal Remote enough backbone to carve and charge while keeping it flexible enough for freestyle riding and natural features.
Bamboo, paulownia, and poplar come together to create a core focused on strength, flex, low weight, and a lively ride. Team tested on groomers, terrain parks, and urban terrain, Deathcore uses the natural strength of bamboo to help the board maintain its liveliness over time, while lightweight paulownia helps keep weight down without sacrificing strength. Bamboo's rapid renewability and the use of environmentally friendly paulownia also help reduce the core's environmental impact.
A triaxial fiberglass weave complements the wood core with additional strength and helps create the board's balanced flex. Working together with the Deathcore and Sundae Sidewalls, the fiberglass increases torsional strength to help the board stay composed and responsive through turns.
UHMW sidewalls are used to create a strong, durable connection between the board's construction and the snow while maintaining good board feel. The added strength also helps reduce unwanted chatter when you're carving or riding at speed.
A magical matte topsheet protects the board while adding extra grip when riding one-footed. It protects against most evil spells, hexes, curses, and witch's brews—but, according to Super Happy Time Death Machine, it still won't save your board from ski school kids stepping on it.
