The Stöckli Nela 93 is a women’s freeride ski built for powder days, soft snow, and playful exploration beyond the groomers. Its 93mm waist, generous Powder Rocker, and Freeride Tip Technology provide easy float and quick maneuverability, while the lightweight Light Core and Softflex construction make the ski easy to bend and less demanding throughout the day. Titanal Technology PRO adds stability and a distinctive premium finish without unnecessary weight, while Polywall sidewalls help absorb impacts and smooth out variable snow. Light, agile, and ready to roam, the Nela 93 delivers Stöckli performance with a distinctly freeride-focused feel.

The gradual bending up of the ski at its tip and tail is called the rocker. Stöckli modifies the rocker according to the type of ski. Typically, the longer and more pronounced the rocker, the more lift is generated and the more responsive and easy-turning the ski becomes.

Particularly light European wood species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste and touring segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable.

The individual layers are thinner and some models feature lighter materials. This gives the ski a softer flex, allowing it to bend more easily while reducing the effort required from the skier.

Light, stiff insert material at the tip makes the shovel more stable and less jittery. The lightweight Freeride Tip material also helps generate more lift in deep snow while reducing swing weight for easier maneuverability.

This sidewall is slightly softer and more elastic than a phenolic sidewall. Its damping properties provide high impact resistance while helping smooth the ski's response through rough and variable snow.

Instead of using a conventional cover sheet, the top layer of Titanal is coated and the design is applied directly to the metal through transfer printing. Eliminating the traditional polyamide surface reduces weight while creating the Nela's distinctive premium appearance.

A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius decreases the amount of edge in contact with the snow, making the ski more playful while still enabling strong grip when edging.

The same edge width as Stöckli's Solid Metal Edge is inserted less deeply into the ski through a modified die-cutting procedure, reducing weight while retaining durability and allowing more grinding over the life of the ski.
