The Stöckli Nela 86 is a lightweight women’s freeride ski that brings quick, precise handling to both groomed runs and off-piste terrain. Completely redesigned for greater versatility, its 86mm waist makes edge-to-edge transitions fast while Rocker and Freeride Tip Technology add maneuverability and float when the snow gets softer. A Light Core, Thin Glass Laminate, and women-focused Softflex keep the ski light and easy to bend, while Polywall construction adds damping and durability in variable conditions. Finished with weight-saving Titanal Technology PRO and a fast Racing-Graphite base, the Nela 86 is a nimble all-mountain freeride option for skiers who split their days between carving the piste and exploring beyond.

The gradual bending up of the ski at its tip and tail increases lift while making the ski more responsive and easier to turn. The result is improved maneuverability on groomed terrain with added float when venturing into softer snow.

Particularly light European wood species reduce overall weight while creating a softer, more supple core. This gives the Nela 86 a dynamic response, easy handling, and excellent durability.

This fiberglass laminate is 25% lighter than its conventional counterpart. Its optimized material composition maintains fiberglass stiffness and the ski's handling characteristics while reducing overall weight.

Thinner individual layers and lightweight materials create a softer flex that allows the ski to bend more easily. This improves ski deflection while reducing the physical effort required for smooth, comfortable skiing.

Light, stiff insert material stabilizes the shovel while reducing swing weight. The design also helps generate additional lift in deep and soft snow for easier, more effortless maneuverability.

The softer and more elastic Polywall sidewall provides damping while significantly improving impact resistance. This creates a robust construction that helps smooth the ski's response through variable and uneven snow.

Instead of a conventional cover sheet, the design is applied directly to the coated top layer of Titanal. Eliminating the traditional polyamide surface reduces weight while giving the ski its distinctive premium appearance.

A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius reduces the amount of edge in contact with the snow, giving the ski a more playful and maneuverable feel while maintaining dependable grip when edged.

The full-width metal edge is inserted less deeply into the ski through a modified die-cutting process. This saves weight while retaining durability, resistance to damage, and enough material for repeated edge grinding.
