The Salomon Faction BOA Snowboard Boots are built for beginner and intermediate riders who want lightweight comfort, easy adjustment, and a forgiving feel as they progress across the mountain. The soft flex keeps turns smooth and approachable, while Salomon’s compact Fit To Ride construction reduces weight without sacrificing the durability needed for everyday riding. A single H4 BOA Coiler with TX3 textile lace makes it quick to dial in a secure, even fit—no frozen laces or loose knots to deal with. Inside, the Universal Liner with Full Custom Fit foam provides comfortable support out of the box and can be heat molded for a more personalized fit. Underfoot, the lightweight Feather 1.0 outsole combines cushioning EVA with grippy Contagrip rubber to absorb impacts and provide traction in snowy parking lots and around the mountain. Comfortable, simple, and ready to ride, the Faction BOA is an all-mountain snowboard boot made for stacking laps and taking your riding to the next level.
Fit To Ride construction is designed to be 10% lighter and 10% more compact without sacrificing comfort or durability. Salomon’s 1:1 lasting also means every half-size change in the liner is matched by a half-size change in the shell for more precise sizing.
The single BOA® Coiler™ system makes getting in and out of the Faction fast and simple. Push the dial to engage, turn to tighten, and pull to release, while the Coiler™ automatically takes up lace slack for quicker entry and easy on-the-fly adjustment.
The H4 Coiler™ BOA® dial provides quick, precise adjustment while automatically managing excess lace. It creates a straightforward closure system that can easily be tightened throughout the day as needed.
Flexible, low-friction TX3 textile lace is designed specifically for the BOA® Fit System, delivering durable performance while allowing the closure system to smoothly wrap and secure the boot.
The Universal Liner uses heat-moldable foam to provide a comfortable out-of-the-box fit for a wide range of feet while still allowing additional customization through heat molding.
Heat-moldable multidensity foams are used throughout the entire liner, allowing the liner to better conform around the rider’s foot for improved comfort and a more personalized fit.
The lightweight Feather 1.0 outsole combines cushioning EVA with Contagrip® rubber to reduce weight while providing traction, comfort, and shock absorption. Fit To Ride construction and the Feather 1.0 outsole are built with at least 20% recycled materials.
Salomon’s Contagrip® rubber compound is designed to maintain dependable grip underfoot across changing conditions, adding traction when walking through snow and around the mountain.
The Imprint insole provides long-lasting underfoot comfort to support riders through full days of progressing and exploring the mountain.
