The Helly Hansen Alpha LIFALOFT Men's Ski Jacket takes a longtime resort favorite and makes it lighter, warmer, and even more comfortable for full days on the mountain. HELLY TECH Professional fabric delivers exceptional waterproofing, breathability, and wind protection, while lightweight LIFALOFT insulation provides impressive warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. H2Flow Air Force Ventilation combines underarm and back ventilation to help release excess heat when you're charging hard, while four-way stretch fabric and articulated sleeves keep movement natural through every turn. Fully sealed seams, thumbhole cuffs, an adjustable powder skirt, and a removable helmet-compatible hood help keep snow and cold air out. A LIFE POCKET+ helps preserve phone battery life in freezing temperatures, while RECCO technology adds an extra safety feature. Finished with plenty of secure storage, a ski pass pocket, and a built-in goggle wipe, the Alpha LIFALOFT is a premium insulated ski jacket built for skiers who want serious mountain performance without the weight.
Helly Hansen's highest level of waterproof and breathable weather protection is engineered for demanding mountain conditions. The fully windproof, waterproof construction combines a protective membrane, two-layer fabric, and fully sealed seams to keep snow and moisture out while allowing excess heat and vapor to escape.
LIFALOFT insulation delivers exceptional warmth with less weight and bulk than traditional insulation. Developed with PrimaLoft, this lightweight synthetic insulation helps keep skiers comfortable in cold conditions while maintaining excellent freedom of movement.
H2Flow Air Force technology combines adjustable ventilation openings with back yoke ventilation to help regulate body temperature. Release excess heat during demanding runs and maintain comfortable airflow as activity levels and mountain conditions change.
The dedicated LIFE POCKET+ is designed to help preserve your phone's battery life in freezing temperatures, providing additional protection for your device during long days on the mountain.
An integrated RECCO reflector makes the jacket searchable by rescue professionals equipped with RECCO detectors. This passive safety feature requires no charging or activation and provides an additional layer of searchability in an emergency.
Four-way stretch fabric and articulated sleeves provide unrestricted movement for aggressive carving, pole planting, and dynamic skiing. The flexible construction moves naturally with your body for a comfortable fit throughout the day.
The adjustable, detachable hood is designed to fit comfortably over a ski helmet, while a high-visibility neon brim improves visibility in snowy conditions. An anti-chafe chin guard adds comfort when the jacket is fully zipped.
An adjustable stretch powder skirt helps keep snow from entering the jacket during deep turns and unexpected falls. Adjustable outer cuffs and elastic inner cuffs with thumbholes provide a secure fit and additional protection from cold air.
Secure zippered hand pockets with brushed linings, chest pockets, an interior zippered chest pocket, and an inside stash pocket provide plenty of space for essentials. A dedicated ski pass pocket keeps lift access convenient, while a chest pocket with an integrated goggle wipe makes it easy to keep your lenses clear.
A two-layer construction with durable water-repellent treatment adds protection against moisture and everyday mountain wear. The Alpha LIFALOFT is also a bluesign product, reflecting responsible material and manufacturing considerations.
