The ski features a lightweight Karuba-Beech wood core reinforced by two high-quality aluminum layers. The combination of different wood species balances low weight with excellent damping, stability, and the high-performance feel of the KORE platform.
Graphene is an exceptionally thin, light, and strong material used strategically within the ski to increase strength and performance without adding unnecessary weight.
Rockered tip and tail with regular camber underfoot creates a smooth, surf-like feel in softer snow while maintaining strong edge grip and stability on hardpack. The KORE 88 Ti uses 25% tip rocker, 55% camber, and 15% tail rocker.
The coated flax edge helps reduce chipping, while the traditional top-sheet material inside the outlined surface helps minimize scratches. Using less top-sheet material also reduces the amount of plastic used in the ski's construction.
