The HEAD Kaliber 100 MV GW BOA Ski Boot brings a precise, customizable fit to advanced skiers who want strong downhill performance without stepping into an ultra-stiff race boot. Built around a 100mm mid-volume last, the Kaliber combines HEAD’s bi-injected construction with strategically stiffer polyurethane for power and softer material over the foot for a snug, comfortable wrap. The BOA Fit System lets you fine-tune the lower closure securing the heel and creating consistent contact for quick power transfer into the ski. Inside, the thinner, anatomical Synapse S liner uses Graphene to help regulate temperature while providing supportive foot retention. Flex tuning, cuff alignment, rear support tuning, and a removable foam wedge provide plenty of options to dial in the setup, while interchangeable GripWalk toe and heel pieces add walking comfort. Powerful without being punishing, the Kaliber 100 BOA is ready for skiers who like to carve hard, ski fast, and keep pushing until last chair.
The BOA Fit System replaces traditional lower-shell buckles with a single micro-adjustable dial, creating an even wrap around the foot while helping secure the heel for efficient power transfer, stability, and control.
The 100mm mid-volume last delivers a balance of control and comfort for advanced skiers. It provides secure foot retention for responsive skiing without the restrictive feel of a narrow race-oriented shell.
HEAD’s bi-injected construction strategically combines different material characteristics throughout the shell. Stiffer polyurethane provides the structural support needed for strong downhill performance, while softer material over the foot creates a closer, more comfortable wrap.
The thinner, anatomically shaped Synapse S liner provides secure foot and heel retention for a precise connection between skier and shell. Its performance-oriented shape maintains support while providing the comfort needed for full days on snow.
Graphene-infused material within the liner helps regulate and distribute heat as conditions change, supporting a more consistent internal temperature and comfortable fit throughout the ski day.
Flex tuning allows the boot’s response to be adjusted to better match the skier’s preferences, providing another level of customization for dialing in the desired balance between support and mobility.
Adjustable cuff alignment helps fine-tune the position of the upper cuff to better match the skier’s natural stance, supporting improved balance, edge engagement, and lateral control through turns.
Rear support tuning provides additional control over the boot’s stance and support characteristics, allowing skiers and bootfitters to further customize the setup for individual skiing preferences.
A removable foam wedge provides another fit and stance adjustment option, making it easier to fine-tune the internal setup around the skier’s individual foot and lower leg.
The polyurethane shell is designed to provide consistent flex and responsiveness across changing temperatures, helping the Kaliber maintain predictable performance throughout the day.
Interchangeable GripWalk toe and heel pieces provide improved traction and a more natural walking motion away from the slopes while maintaining compatibility with GripWalk-compatible ski bindings.
