The Triple Pivot Elite Toe uses a horizontally positioned spring and a sole plate inclined by 5° to provide high energy absorption and strong retention for aggressive freeride skiing. Its large supporting surface helps optimize power transmission between the boot and ski when the terrain gets demanding.
The updated Inter Pivot 3 Freeride Heel improves power transmission, energy absorption, and vertical heel elasticity while also providing easier step-in performance. The result is a strong, responsive connection designed for demanding downhill skiing.
The Extended Power Frame uses an extra-wide platform to increase leverage and power transfer between the binding and ski. Designed with wider freeride skis in mind, Marker recommends the EPF platform for skis over 88mm underfoot.
The frame touring system provides two climbing aid positions at 7° and 13°. Both can be accessed with a ski pole while touring, while integrated elastomer padding helps dampen impact for a quieter and more comfortable stride on the skin track.
Marker’s fiber-reinforced frame base plate uses gas-injected hollow construction to reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining the stability and support needed for aggressive downhill performance.
Marker Sole.ID allows an authorized retailer to adjust the binding for ISO 5355 Alpine and ISO 9523 touring boot sole standards, as well as compatible GripWalk and WTR-equipped boots, giving the Baron 13 EPF broad boot compatibility.
The movable stainless steel AFD helps support precise release performance while minimizing interference from dirt, snow, and ice between the boot and binding.
The integrated metal Anti Ice Rail gives you a convenient place to scrape packed snow and ice from the bottom of your boot before stepping into the binding.
