Snowboard Profile

System Rocker / Parabolic Rocker

Arbor's System Rocker platform creates a smooth, surf-inspired ride with easy turn initiation and a forgiving feel. Parabolic Profiling gradually reduces rocker toward the tip and tail, helping young riders develop confidence while maintaining consistent edge engagement. Combined with Grip Tech, the Scion offers approachable handling for learning turns, exploring the resort, and progressing into freestyle riding.

Key Technologies & Features

System Rocker with Parabolic Profiling

Arbor's System Rocker design delivers a loose, forgiving ride with smooth turn initiation and easy maneuverability. Parabolic Profiling gradually reduces rocker toward the tip and tail, helping minimize unwanted edge catches while providing predictable handling as young snowboarders develop their skills.

Grip Tech

Arbor's Grip Tech sidecut creates additional heel-side and toe-side contact points near the rider's feet. These contact points improve traction on firmer snow and help young riders maintain control while learning to link turns and navigate changing resort conditions.

Soft 3/10 Flex

A soft, forgiving flex makes the Scion easier for young riders to maneuver and control. Its playful feel supports smoother turns, developing balance, and experimenting with basic freestyle movements without requiring excessive strength or aggressive technique.

Pure Poplar Core

The Pure Poplar Core provides a lightweight, consistent flex with dependable durability. Its predictable response helps younger snowboarders build confidence while keeping the board manageable through turns, transitions, and early freestyle progression.

Biax Glassing

Biaxial fiberglass reinforcement creates a smooth, forgiving flex with predictable torsional response. This construction makes the snowboard easier to twist and maneuver, helping developing riders initiate turns and maintain control.

Extruded Base

The durable extruded base delivers dependable glide with minimal maintenance. Its easy-to-repair construction makes it a practical choice for kids learning to snowboard and spending plenty of time on the mountain.

Bio-Resin

Arbor's Bio-Resin incorporates bio-based ingredients as an alternative to conventional petroleum-based resin systems. It helps reduce reliance on traditional petroleum-derived materials while maintaining the strength required for snowboard construction.

360-Degree Fully Wrapped Sidewalls

Fully wrapped sidewall construction extends around the board's perimeter, helping improve structural consistency and durability. This construction supports reliable performance through repeated resort sessions and everyday mountain wear.

Recycled Steel Edges

Durable recycled steel edges provide dependable edge performance while incorporating recycled materials into the snowboard's construction.

2x4 10-Pack Inserts

The 2x4 insert pattern provides multiple binding mounting positions, allowing young riders to adjust their stance placement for comfort, control, and continued progression as their riding develops.

Factory Tuned

The Scion comes factory tuned for dependable performance right out of the shop. Regular edge and base maintenance will help preserve smooth handling and consistent glide throughout the season.
